Pride month call for artists!
June is Pride month, a time when LGBTQ2S+ communities around the world celebrate the freedom to be known, heard, understood and respected.
This year, with lockdowns ending, there’s even more to celebrate! We are excited to be back in-person holding our fourth annual Everyone Under the Rainbow Show, with a theme of “Stayed in, Coming Out”.
To honour the month, QAC is posting a call to artists for submissions. This show is open to all. We invite you to share your photography or art that reflects, respects, features and speaks to the LGBTQ2S+ community.
Our intention is to foster new connections with artists in the LGBTQ2S+ community in Quinte to provide a place for them to showcase and celebrate their art. Because everyone deserves a place under the rainbow!
